To initially establish contact between the two Head Teachers so
that we each have an awareness of the similarities and differences
within our two communities.
To draw up a Partnership agreement which will collaboratively
identify the short and long term aims of our link.
The aim would be that this link would be sustainable through bids
and fund raising.
Both schools aspire to there being an annual reciprocal visit
from one school to the other.
To use the Partnership agreement to discuss how to include other
Global dimensions and educational priorities for both schools other
than the ones that we have collaboratively identified as important
to both our communities.
To develop staff, parents and children's understanding and
empathy with the wide world and to have a sense of their role as a
world citizen.
To challenge stereotypes - from both sides of the partnership
link.
To gain experience of the natural world and the role we can play
in using natural resources sustain ably.
To develop a partnership built upon equity, reciprocity,
friendship, mutual trust and understanding.
To develop the curriculum so that all members of the school
communities benefit from the link.
