Worship

The school's  'Candle Song' is sung at the beginning of Worship

There is an act of collective worship everyday and grace is said before the midday meal and prayers end the school day. Therefore, the children are regularly reminded of God's presence and his teachings in their daily life at Worlebury St. Paul’s Primary School.

Stories from the Old and New Testaments are told to the children weekly in worship. The Parish Vicar visits us regularly and teaches about the seasons and festivals of the Church Year. A variety of evangelists visit the school several times a term. The major Christian festivals are celebrated in school.

Parents have the right to withdraw their children from acts of Christian worship and Religious Education and should inform the school in writing if they wish to do so. In these circumstances a child will be asked to work in another classroom with work prepared by the class teacher.
