RECEPTION TRIP TO LOWER STOCK FARM

Tuesday 13th  March 2012

Our Reception children had an exceptionally exciting day as part of their learning theme 'Once Upon a Time' last week.  They had a trip to Lower Stock Farm with Farmer Nick! First of all they looked around the farm, observing the cows, hens and making friends with Albie the barn owl. 

After this they planted herbs which included planting in the new raised beds!  They were the first ever people to plant in the new raised beds so we are very proud....there was a special plaque made too! 

They also all enjoyed playing in the woods, investigating the pond area and riding around Wrington on a fabulous tractor!
