Harvest Service and Celebration

Friday 14th October 2011

Thank you to all our children who presented a wonderful Harvest Celebration to family, friends, carers and staff.  Also to Rev Geoff Eales who led both our services.  It was wonderful to see our 'newest' children take the stage and show their lovely pictures of Harvest. Year One were also wonderful, sharing their Harvest Poem and Year Two shared the story 'Enormous Turnip'.   In our Key Stage Two Celebration Year Three shared poems about Harvest that they had written themselves, Year Four presented a play with a moral 'The Barley and the Bindweed' and Year Five shared some pictures of Harvest. All children did Worlebury proud and sang wonderfully to celebrate Harvest.  All produce donated to the school for Harvest has been donated to the local charity 'Somewhere to go'.
