Children in year 3 & 4 have swimming lessons at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre. They are divided into three groups and either taught by a North Somerset swimming teacher or Class Teacher. Lessons last for 30 minutes and the children work towards the Hutton Moor Leisure Centre School Swimming Grades (1-6). All children need to bring a costume and towel, hat (for the girls), and goggles are advised. All jewellery must be removed. Children should wear appropriate swimwear fit for the purpose, swimming trunks rather than shorts for the boys, and a one piece costume for the girls. SWIMMING IS ALWAYS ON A FRIDAY at 10.30am - Y4 swim in Term 1 & 2 and Y3 swim in Term 3 & 4
